Mission: End hunger in the classroom through the establishment of school gardens.
Maggie Kay Foundation offers a competitive internship program that provides students with the opportunity to join our team in our mission to improve the lives of children while gaining real work knowledge and experience.
Come stay with us at our 18,000 square-foot learning center which has been named The Grand Burnham Hut. It will house up to 30 people at one time. The Hut will house students and other adult volunteers who want to help the MKF with their Kenyan projects. The Hut will also be an Education Center where the volunteers will share knowledge, exchange ideas, and come up with solutions to problems faced every day by the women and children of Kenya.
Trust us… it’s not easy doing what we do. Then again, nothing worth doing is ever easy, is it? Our work requires a roll up your sleeves, dig deep, give-it-all-you’ve-got dedication to solving some pretty daunting challenges in Rural Kenya, and your colleagues will expect it of you.
